The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.9.384, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 384 of Antya-khanda chapter 9—“The Glories of Advaita”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.9.384:

জ্ঞান-পূর্ব ভৃগুর এ কর্ম কভু নয কৃষ্ণ বাডাযেন অধিকারি-ভক্ত-জয ॥ ৩৮৪ ॥

ज्ञान-पूर्व भृगुर ए कर्म कभु नय कृष्ण बाडायेन अधिकारि-भक्त-जय ॥ ३८४ ॥

jñāna-pūrva bhṛgura e karma kabhu naya kṛṣṇa bāḍāyena adhikāri-bhakta-jaya || 384 ||

jnana-purva bhrgura e karma kabhu naya krsna badayena adhikari-bhakta-jaya (384)

English translation:

(384) Bhṛgu Muni could never perform such an act knowingly, but Kṛṣṇa wanted to increase the glories of His pure devotee.
