The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.9.380, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 380 of Antya-khanda chapter 9—“The Glories of Advaita”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.9.380:

পরীক্ষিতে কর্ম কি না ছিল কিছু আর তার লাগি’ করিলেন চরণ-প্রহার ॥ ৩৮০ ॥

परीक्षिते कर्म कि ना छिल किछु आर तार लागि’ करिलेन चरण-प्रहार ॥ ३८० ॥

parīkṣite karma ki nā chila kichu āra tāra lāgi’ karilena caraṇa-prahāra || 380 ||

pariksite karma ki na chila kichu ara tara lagi’ karilena carana-prahara (380)

English translation:

(380) Was there no other way for Bhṛgu to test the Lord than by kicking Him with his feet?
