The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.9.249, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 249 of Antya-khanda chapter 9—“The Glories of Advaita”.

যে মনুষ্য-জন্ম লাগি’ দেবে কাম্য করে হেন জন্ম দিযাও বঞ্চিলা প্রভু, মোরে ॥ ২৪৯ ॥

ये मनुष्य-जन्म लागि’ देवे काम्य करे हेन जन्म दियाओ वञ्चिला प्रभु, मोरे ॥ २४९ ॥

ye manuṣya-janma lāgi’ deve kāmya kare hena janma diyāo vañcilā prabhu, more || 249 ||

ye manusya-janma lagi’ deve kamya kare hena janma diyao vancila prabhu, more (249)

English translation:

(249) “The demigods pray for a human birth. Yet even though You have given us a human birth, You have deceived us.
