The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.9.52, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 52 of Antya-khanda chapter 9—“The Glories of Advaita”.

যতেক ব্যঞ্জন প্রভু ভোজন করেন সকলের কিছু কিছু অবশ্য এডেন ॥ ৫২ ॥

यतेक व्यञ्जन प्रभु भोजन करेन सकलेर किछु किछु अवश्य एडेन ॥ ५२ ॥

yateka vyañjana prabhu bhojana karena sakalera kichu kichu avaśya eḍena || 52 ||

yateka vyanjana prabhu bhojana karena sakalera kichu kichu avasya edena (52)

English translation:

(52) The Lord would leave a small portion of each vegetable preparation uneaten.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The word eḍena means “saved as remnants” or “left behind.”
