The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.8.116, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 116 of Antya-khanda chapter 8—“Mahaprabhu’s Water Sports in Narendra- sarovara”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.8.116:

গৌড-দেশে জল-কেলি আচে ‘কযা নামে সেই জল-ক্রীডা আরম্ভিলেন প্রথমে ॥ ১১৬ ॥

गौड-देशे जल-केलि आचे ‘कया नामे सेइ जल-क्रीडा आरम्भिलेन प्रथमे ॥ ११६ ॥

gauḍa-deśe jala-keli āce ‘kayā nāme sei jala-krīḍā ārambhilena prathame || 116 ||

gauda-dese jala-keli ace ‘kaya name sei jala-krida arambhilena prathame (116)

English translation:

(116) They began their water sports with one well-known Bengali water sport named “Kayā.”
