The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.6.6, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 6 of Antya-khanda chapter 6—“The Glories of Shri Nityananda Prabhu”.

অলঙ্কার-মালায পূর্ণিত কলেবর কর্পূর-তাম্বূল শোভে সুরঙ্গ অধর ॥ ৬ ॥
अलङ्कार-मालाय पूर्णित कलेवर कर्पूर-ताम्बूल शोभे सुरङ्ग अधर ॥ ६ ॥
alaṅkāra-mālāya pūrṇita kalevara karpūra-tāmbūla śobhe suraṅga adhara || 6 ||
alankara-malaya purnita kalevara karpura-tambula sobhe suranga adhara (6)
English translation:
(6) His body was decorated with ornaments and garlands. Because He chewed betel nuts mixed with camphor, His lips were reddish.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
The word suraṅga means “red” or “blood red.”
