The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.696, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 696 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.696:

সেই দ্বিজ-দ্বারে যত চোর-দস্যু-গণ ধর্ম-পথে আসি’ লৈল চৈতন্য-শরণ ॥ ৬৯৬ ॥

सेइ द्विज-द्वारे यत चोर-दस्यु-गण धर्म-पथे आसि’ लैल चैतन्य-शरण ॥ ६९६ ॥

sei dvija-dvāre yata cora-dasyu-gaṇa dharma-pathe āsi’ laila caitanya-śaraṇa || 696 ||

sei dvija-dvare yata cora-dasyu-gana dharma-pathe asi’ laila caitanya-sarana (696)

English translation:

(696) By the influence of that brāhmaṇa, all sorts of dacoits took shelter of Lord Caitanya and led religious lives.
