The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.672, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 672 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.672:

মহা-যম-যাতনা হৈল যদি ভোগ তবে শেষে সবার হৈল ভক্তি-যোগ ॥ ৬৭২ ॥

महा-यम-यातना हैल यदि भोग तबे शेषे सबार हैल भक्ति-योग ॥ ६७२ ॥

mahā-yama-yātanā haila yadi bhoga tabe śeṣe sabāra haila bhakti-yoga || 672 ||

maha-yama-yatana haila yadi bhoga tabe sese sabara haila bhakti-yoga (672)

English translation:

(672) “When we had thus suffered the punishment of Yamarāja, we eventually developed devotion to You.
