The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.657, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 657 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.657:

“এই নদীযায প্রভু বসতি আমার নাম সে ‘ব্রাহ্মণ’—ব্যাধ-চণ্ডাল-আচার ॥ ৬৫৭ ॥

“एइ नदीयाय प्रभु वसति आमार नाम से ‘ब्राह्मण’—व्याध-चण्डाल-आचार ॥ ६५७ ॥

“ei nadīyāya prabhu vasati āmāra nāma se ‘brāhmaṇa’—vyādha-caṇḍāla-ācāra || 657 ||

“ei nadiyaya prabhu vasati amara nama se ‘brahmana’—vyadha-candala-acara (657)

English translation:

(657) “O Lord, I live in this Nadia. Although I am known as a brāhmaṇa, my behavior is like that of a hunter or dog-eater.
