The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.649, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 649 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.649:

কেহ বলে,—“মাযা বা করিযা আসিযাছে কোন পাক করিযা বা হানা দেয পাছে” ॥ ৬৪৯ ॥

केह बले,—“माया वा करिया आसियाछे कोन पाक करिया वा हाना देय पाछे” ॥ ६४९ ॥

keha bale,—“māyā vā kariyā āsiyāche kona pāka kariyā vā hānā deya pāche” || 649 ||

keha bale,—“maya va kariya asiyache kona paka kariya va hana deya pache” (649)

English translation:

(649) Someone said, “He must be playing some trick. Under this pretext he may raid the house latter.”

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

By nature, duplicitous people externally exhibit simplicity and humility, but when the opportunity arises they engage in illicit activities.
