The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.627, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 627 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.627:

যে জন আছাড প্রভু, পৃথিবীতে খায পুনশ্ চ পৃথিবী তারে হযেন সহায ॥ ৬২৭ ॥

ये जन आछाड प्रभु, पृथिवीते खाय पुनश् च पृथिवी तारे हयेन सहाय ॥ ६२७ ॥

ye jana āchāḍa prabhu, pṛthivīte khāya punaś ca pṛthivī tāre hayena sahāya || 627 ||

ye jana achada prabhu, prthivite khaya punas ca prthivi tare hayena sahaya (627)

English translation:

(627) “O Lord, if a person falls forcefully to the ground, the earth again supports him.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

When a person falls to the ground, the earth does not allow him to fall further but kindly protects him.

It is stated:

bhūmau skhalita-pādānāṃ bhūmir evāvalambanam tvayi jātāparādhānāṃ tvam eva śaraṇaṃ prabho

“Those who trip and fall have only the ground as support to again get up. Similarly, O Lord, those who commit offenses to You have no one but You for refuge.”
