The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.612, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 612 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.612:

একে মরে দস্যু পোক-জোঙ্কের কামডে বিশেষে মরযে আরো মহাবৃষ্টি-ঝডে ॥ ৬১২ ॥

एके मरे दस्यु पोक-जोङ्केर कामडे विशेषे मरये आरो महावृष्टि-झडे ॥ ६१२ ॥

eke mare dasyu poka-joṅkera kāmaḍe viśeṣe maraye āro mahāvṛṣṭi-jhaḍe || 612 ||

eke mare dasyu poka-jonkera kamade visese maraye aro mahavrsti-jhade (612)

English translation:

(612) First the dacoits suffered the bites of leeches and insects, then they suffered further from the great rainstorm.
