The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.608, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 608 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.608:

কেহ কেহ পডে গিযা কাঙ্টার উপরে সর্ব অঙ্গে ফুটে কাঙ্টা, নডিতে না পারে ॥ ৬০৮ ॥

केह केह पडे गिया काङ्टार उपरे सर्व अङ्गे फुटे काङ्टा, नडिते ना पारे ॥ ६०८ ॥

keha keha paḍe giyā kāṅṭāra upare sarva aṅge phuṭe kāṅṭā, naḍite nā pāre || 608 ||

keha keha pade giya kantara upare sarva ange phute kanta, nadite na pare (608)

English translation:

(608) Some fell on thorns that pierced their entire bodies so they were unable to move.
