The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.607, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 607 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.607:

উচ্ছিষ্ট গর্তেতে কেহ কেহ গিযা পডে তথায মরযে বিছা-পোকের কামডে ॥ ৬০৭ ॥

उच्छिष्ट गर्तेते केह केह गिया पडे तथाय मरये विछा-पोकेर कामडे ॥ ६०७ ॥

ucchiṣṭa gartete keha keha giyā paḍe tathāya maraye vichā-pokera kāmaḍe || 607 ||

ucchista gartete keha keha giya pade tathaya maraye vicha-pokera kamade (607)

English translation:

(607) Some fell into a pit where food remnants were thrown and suffered from the bites of insects and scorpions.
