The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.603, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 603 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.603:

মহা-ভযঙ্কর-নিশা চোর-দস্যু-গণ দশ-পাঞ্চ অস্ত্র একো জনের কাচন ॥ ৬০৩ ॥

महा-भयङ्कर-निशा चोर-दस्यु-गण दश-पाञ्च अस्त्र एको जनेर काचन ॥ ६०३ ॥

mahā-bhayaṅkara-niśā cora-dasyu-gaṇa daśa-pāñca astra eko janera kācana || 603 ||

maha-bhayankara-nisa cora-dasyu-gana dasa-panca astra eko janera kacana (603)

English translation:

(603) On that formidable night, each of those dacoits carried five to ten weapons.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The word kācana means “carried.”
