The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.583, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 583 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.583:

হেন বুঝি—এই সব শক্তির প্রভাবে ‘গোসাঞি’ করিযা তানে কহে সবে” ॥ ৫৮৩ ॥

हेन बुझि—एइ सब शक्तिर प्रभावे ‘गोसाञि’ करिया ताने कहे सबे” ॥ ५८३ ॥

hena bujhi—ei saba śaktira prabhāve ‘gosāñi’ kariyā tāne kahe sabe” || 583 ||

hena bujhi—ei saba saktira prabhave ‘gosani’ kariya tane kahe sabe” (583)

English translation:

(583) “I think people call Him Gosāñi because He has such great influence.”
