The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.566, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 566 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.566:

বুঝিলাম চণ্ডীআজি মোহিলা আপনে বিনি চণ্ডী পূজিযা গেলাঙ তে-কারণে ॥ ৫৬৬ ॥

बुझिलाम चण्डीआजि मोहिला आपने विनि चण्डी पूजिया गेलाङ ते-कारणे ॥ ५६६ ॥

bujhilāma caṇḍīāji mohilā āpane vini caṇḍī pūjiyā gelāṅa te-kāraṇe || 566 ||

bujhilama candiaji mohila apane vini candi pujiya gelana te-karane (566)

English translation:

(566) “I think Caṇḍī has bewildered us today because we went without first worshiping her.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

Another reading for āji (“today”) is āsi (“came”).
