The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.554, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 554 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.554:

কেহ বলে,—“মুঞি নিমু কর্ণ-আভরণ” “স্বর্ণ-হার নিমু মুঞি”বলে কোন জন ॥ ৫৫৪ ॥

केह बले,—“मुञि निमु कर्ण-आभरण” “स्वर्ण-हार निमु मुञि”बले कोन जन ॥ ५५४ ॥

keha bale,—“muñi nimu karṇa-ābharaṇa” “svarṇa-hāra nimu muñi”bale kona jana || 554 ||

keha bale,—“muni nimu karna-abharana” “svarna-hara nimu muni”bale kona jana (554)

English translation:

(554) Someone else said, “I will take His earrings.” One said, “I will take His gold necklace.”
