The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.553, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 553 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.553:

কেহ বলে,—“মোহার সোনার তাড-বালা” কেহ বলে,—“মুঞি নিমু মুকুতার মালা” ॥ ৫৫৩ ॥

केह बले,—“मोहार सोनार ताड-बाला” केह बले,—“मुञि निमु मुकुतार माला” ॥ ५५३ ॥

keha bale,—“mohāra sonāra tāḍa-bālā” keha bale,—“muñi nimu mukutāra mālā” || 553 ||

keha bale,—“mohara sonara tada-bala” keha bale,—“muni nimu mukutara mala” (553)

English translation:

(553) One of them said, “I will take His gold bracelets.” Another said, “I will take His pearl necklace.”
