The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.521, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 521 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

নবদ্বীপ—যেহেন মথুরা-রাজ ধানীকত মত লোক আছে, অন্ত নাহি জানি ॥ ৫২১ ॥
नवद्वीप—येहेन मथुरा-राज धानीकत मत लोक आछे, अन्त नाहि जानि ॥ ५२१ ॥
navadvīpa—yehena mathurā-rāja dhānīkata mata loka āche, anta nāhi jāni || 521 ||
navadvipa—yehena mathura-raja dhanikata mata loka ache, anta nahi jani (521)
English translation:
(521) Navadvīpa is just like the capital city of Mathurā. No one knew how many people lived there.
