The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.442, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 442 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

রাক্ষসের নাম যেন কহে ‘পুণ্য-জন’ এই মত এ সব চৈতন্য-দাস-গণ ॥ ৪৪২ ॥

राक्षसेर नाम येन कहे ‘पुण्य-जन’ एइ मत ए सब चैतन्य-दास-गण ॥ ४४२ ॥

rākṣasera nāma yena kahe ‘puṇya-jana’ ei mata e saba caitanya-dāsa-gaṇa || 442 ||

raksasera nama yena kahe ‘punya-jana’ ei mata e saba caitanya-dasa-gana (442)

English translation:

(442) These persons may be known by the name Caitanya dāsa, or servant of Caitanya, just as demons are known by the name puṇya-jana, or pious person.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

In Sanskrit language the phrase puṇya-jana is used as a synonym for Rākṣasa, or demon. Therefore to call oneself Caitanya dāsa is simply a method of deceiving people. Those who do not understand the deep meaning of the phrase puṇya-jana consider that it has a good connotation, but in actuality it is used to give the opposite meaning. Similarly, if names like Caitanya dāsa are not indicative of the actual meaning but are used to indicate an offender of Lord Caitanya, then the person with such a name can never become an actual servant of Lord Caitanya.
