The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.407, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 407 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.407:

হাসি বলে কাজী,—“শুন দাস গদাধর! কালি বলিবাঙ ‘হরি’, আজি যাহ ঘর” ॥ ৪০৭ ॥

हासि बले काजी,—“शुन दास गदाधर! कालि बलिबाङ ‘हरि’, आजि याह घर” ॥ ४०७ ॥

hāsi bale kājī,—“śuna dāsa gadādhara! kāli balibāṅa ‘hari’, āji yāha ghara” || 407 ||

hasi bale kaji,—“suna dasa gadadhara! kali balibana ‘hari’, aji yaha ghara” (407)

English translation:

(407) The Kazi then smiled and said, “Listen, Gadādhara dāsa, you go home now. I will chant the name of Hari tomorrow.”

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

Although the Kazi was most envious and opposed to religious principles, he smiled on seeing Gadādhara’s simplicity. While smiling, he said, “By your request I will chant the name of Hari tomorrow. For now, you go home.” As a result, Gadādhara became especially happy to hear the name of Hari issue from the mouth of the Kazi.
