The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.397, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 397 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.397:

যে কাজীর ভযে লোক পলায অন্তরে নির্ভযে চলিলা নিশা-ভাগে তার ঘরে ॥ ৩৯৭ ॥

ये काजीर भये लोक पलाय अन्तरे निर्भये चलिला निशा-भागे तार घरे ॥ ३९७ ॥

ye kājīra bhaye loka palāya antare nirbhaye calilā niśā-bhāge tāra ghare || 397 ||

ye kajira bhaye loka palaya antare nirbhaye calila nisa-bhage tara ghare (397)

English translation:

(397) Although people generally ran away in fear of that Kazi, Gadādhara fearlessly went at night to his house.
