হস্তি-সম জন না খাইলে তিন দিন চলিতে না পারে, দেহ হয অতি ক্ষীণ ॥ ৩৯০ ॥

हस्ति-सम जन ना खाइले तिन दिन चलिते ना पारे, देह हय अति क्षीण ॥ ३९० ॥

hasti-sama jana nā khāile tina dina calite nā pāre, deha haya ati kṣīṇa || 390 ||

English translation:

(390) If a person as strong as an elephant does not eat for three days, he will not be able to walk and his body will become weak.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

If a human being as strong as an elephant fasts for three days, he loses the ability to walk and his body becomes weak.
