The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.370, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 370 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

কারে ও বা বান্ধিযা রাখেন নিজ-পাশে মারেন বান্ধেন—তবু অট্ট অট্ট হাসে ॥ ৩৭০ ॥
कारे ओ वा बान्धिया राखेन निज-पाशे मारेन बान्धेन—तबु अट्ट अट्ट हासे ॥ ३७० ॥
kāre o vā bāndhiyā rākhena nija-pāśe mārena bāndhena—tabu aṭṭa aṭṭa hāse || 370 ||
kare o va bandhiya rakhena nija-pase marena bandhena—tabu atta atta hase (370)
English translation:
(370) He would sometimes bind one of them and keep him nearby. Although He beat them and bound them, they would laugh loudly.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
Śrī Nityānanda Prabhu indiscriminately distributed His affection to the children. Sometimes He would feed them, and sometimes He would display the pastime of tying them up to stop their mischief. Everyone was satisfied by their behavior. The children accepted Him as Baladeva and themselves as cowherd boys subordinate to personalities like Śrīdāma.
