The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.290, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 290 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.290:

হাসি’ নিত্যানন্দ বলে,—“আরে ভাই সব! বল দেখি কি গন্ধের পাও অনুভব?” ॥ ২৯০ ॥

हासि’ नित्यानन्द बले,—“आरे भाइ सब! बल देखि कि गन्धेर पाओ अनुभव?” ॥ २९० ॥

hāsi’ nityānanda bale,—“āre bhāi saba! bala dekhi ki gandhera pāo anubhava?” || 290 ||

hasi’ nityananda bale,—“are bhai saba! bala dekhi ki gandhera pao anubhava?” (290)

English translation:

(290) Nityānanda smiled and said, “O brothers, tell Me, do you smell something?”
