The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.288, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 288 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.288:

আর মহা-আশ্চর্য হৈল কত-ক্ষণে অপূর্ব দনার গন্ধ পায সর্ব-জনে ॥ ২৮৮ ॥

आर महा-आश्चर्य हैल कत-क्षणे अपूर्व दनार गन्ध पाय सर्व-जने ॥ २८८ ॥

āra mahā-āścarya haila kata-kṣaṇe apūrva danāra gandha pāya sarva-jane || 288 ||

ara maha-ascarya haila kata-ksane apurva danara gandha paya sarva-jane (288)

English translation:

(288) Shortly thereafter another most wonderful incident took place. Everyone smelled the wonderful fragrance of damanaka flowers.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The word danā refers to damanaka flowers, or Artemisia indica.
