The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.244, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 244 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.244:

কত-ক্ষণে পথ জিজ্ঞাসেন লোক-স্থানে “বল ভাই, গঙ্গা-তীরে যাইব কেমনে” ॥ ২৪৪ ॥

कत-क्षणे पथ जिज्ञासेन लोक-स्थाने “बल भाइ, गङ्गा-तीरे याइब केमने” ॥ २४४ ॥

kata-kṣaṇe patha jijñāsena loka-sthāne “bala bhāi, gaṅgā-tīre yāiba kemane” || 244 ||

kata-ksane patha jijnasena loka-sthane “bala bhai, ganga-tire yaiba kemane” (244)

English translation:

(244) After some time they would ask some people, “O brothers, tell us, how can we reach the Ganges?”
