The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.166, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 166 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

ঈশ্বর-মাযায রাজা মর্ম নাহি জানে সেই প্রভু জানাইতে লাগিলা আপনে ॥ ১৬৬ ॥
ईश्वर-मायाय राजा मर्म नाहि जाने सेइ प्रभु जानाइते लागिला आपने ॥ १६६ ॥
īśvara-māyāya rājā marma nāhi jāne sei prabhu jānāite lāgilā āpane || 166 ||
isvara-mayaya raja marma nahi jane sei prabhu janaite lagila apane (166)
English translation:
(166) Yet by the influence of the Lord’s illusory energy, the King did not know this confidential fact. Therefore the Lord revealed this truth to the King.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
Although the offenses committed by Pratāparudra resulting from his previous aversion to Kṛṣṇa were destroyed upon seeing the Lord, since he depended on the strength of his sensual knowledge, he could not understand that Śrī Gaurasundara was Kṛṣṇa. Rather, he became doubtful about Śrī Caitanya, thinking that He was simply a devotee. His thoughts
were bewildered by Kṛṣṇa’s illusory energy. To display mercy on him, Lord Jagannātha appeared to him in a dream. As a result, the King became repentant and begged forgiveness for his offense.
