The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.49, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 49 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.49:

প্রভু বলে,—“এক দুই তিন যে করি লাকি অর্থ ইহার বল কেন তালি দিলা?” ॥ ৪৯ ॥

प्रभु बले,—“एक दुइ तिन ये करि लाकि अर्थ इहार बल केन तालि दिला?” ॥ ४९ ॥

prabhu bale,—“eka dui tina ye kari lāki artha ihāra bala kena tāli dilā?” || 49 ||

prabhu bale,—“eka dui tina ye kari laki artha ihara bala kena tali dila?” (49)

English translation:

(49) The Lord said, “What is the meaning of this ‘one, two, three’? Why did you clap?”
