The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.46, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 46 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.46:

এ-কালেতে কোথাও না গেলে না আইলে বট মাত্র কাহারেও আসিযা না মিলে ॥ ৪৬ ॥

ए-कालेते कोथाओ ना गेले ना आइले वट मात्र काहारेओ आसिया ना मिले ॥ ४६ ॥

e-kālete kothāo nā gele nā āile vaṭa mātra kāhāreo āsiyā nā mile || 46 ||

e-kalete kothao na gele na aile vata matra kahareo asiya na mile (46)

English translation:

(46) “Nowadays if one does not go out and bring anything, nothing will come.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

The phrase vaṭa mātra means “just a little” or “even the smallest portion.”
