The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.44, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 44 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.44:

প্রভু বলে,—“সন্ন্যাস গ্রহণ না করিবা ভিক্ষা করিতেও কারো দ্বারে না যৈবা ॥ ৪৪ ॥

प्रभु बले,—“सन्न्यास ग्रहण ना करिबा भिक्षा करितेओ कारो द्वारे ना यैबा ॥ ४४ ॥

prabhu bale,—“sannyāsa grahaṇa nā karibā bhikṣā kariteo kāro dvāre nā yaibā || 44 ||

prabhu bale,—“sannyasa grahana na kariba bhiksa kariteo karo dvare na yaiba (44)

English translation:

(44) The Lord said, “You will not take sannyāsa, and you will not go to anyone’s door to beg alms.
