The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.5.24, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 24 of Antya-khanda chapter 5—“The Pastimes of Nityananda”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.5.24:

বাসুদেব কান্দিতে কে আছে হেন জন শুষ্ক কাষ্ঠ-পাষাণাদি করযে ক্রন্দন ॥ ২৪ ॥

वासुदेव कान्दिते के आछे हेन जन शुष्क काष्ठ-पाषाणादि करये क्रन्दन ॥ २४ ॥

vāsudeva kāndite ke āche hena jana śuṣka kāṣṭha-pāṣāṇādi karaye krandana || 24 ||

vasudeva kandite ke ache hena jana suska kastha-pasanadi karaye krandana (24)

English translation:

(24) Who was not affected by the crying of Vāsudeva? Even persons with hearts as hard as dry wood or stone were moved to tears.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

Even persons whose hearts were as hard as inanimate objects were unable to maintain their composure when they saw Vāsudeva cry.
