The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.4.322, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 322 of Antya-khanda chapter 4—“Descriptions of Shri Acyutananda’s Pastimes and the Worship of Shri Madhavendra”.

“দুর্বা-দল-শ্যামল—কোদণ্ড-দীক্ষা-গুরু ভক্ত-গণ-প্রতি বাঞ্ছাতীত কল্প-তরু ॥ ৩২২ ॥
“दुर्वा-दल-श्यामल—कोदण्ड-दीक्षा-गुरु भक्त-गण-प्रति वाञ्छातीत कल्प-तरु ॥ ३२२ ॥
“durvā-dala-śyāmala—kodaṇḍa-dīkṣā-guru bhakta-gaṇa-prati vāñchātīta kalpa-taru || 322 ||
“durva-dala-syamala—kodanda-diksa-guru bhakta-gana-prati vanchatita kalpa-taru (322)
English translation:
(322) “His complexion is dark like durvā grass, and He is the supreme teacher of the art of archery. He is like a desire tree for fulfilling the desires of His devotees.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
The phrase kodaṇḍa-dīkṣā-guru refers to a teacher of dhanur-vidyā, the art of archery.
