The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.4.311, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 311 of Antya-khanda chapter 4—“Descriptions of Shri Acyutananda’s Pastimes and the Worship of Shri Madhavendra”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.4.311:

কেহ বলে,—“আমি পাত ফেলি সর্ব কাল তোমরা যে লও সে কেবল ঠাকুরাল” ॥ ৩১১ ॥

केह बले,—“आमि पात फेलि सर्व काल तोमरा ये लओ से केवल ठाकुराल” ॥ ३११ ॥

keha bale,—“āmi pāta pheli sarva kāla tomarā ye lao se kevala ṭhākurāla” || 311 ||

keha bale,—“ami pata pheli sarva kala tomara ye lao se kevala thakurala” (311)

English translation:

(311) Someone else said, “I have always thrown out the empty plates, but now out of arrogance you are taking my duty.”
