The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.3.265, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 265 of Antya-khanda chapter 3—“Mahaprabhu’s Deliverance of Sarvabhauma, Exhibition of His Six-armed Form, and Journey to Bengal”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.3.265:

এই অবতারে সিন্ধু কৃতার্থ হৈতে অতএব লক্ষ্মী জন্মিলেন তাহা হৈতে ॥ ২৬৫ ॥

एइ अवतारे सिन्धु कृतार्थ हैते अतएव लक्ष्मी जन्मिलेन ताहा हैते ॥ २६५ ॥

ei avatāre sindhu kṛtārtha haite ataeva lakṣmī janmilena tāhā haite || 265 ||

ei avatare sindhu krtartha haite ataeva laksmi janmilena taha haite (265)

English translation:

(265) Since the ocean attained perfection during this incarnation of the Lord, therefore Lakṣmī appeared from its waters.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

Since Śrīman Mahāprabhu was to come in the future to the shore of the ocean in Nīlācala, Lakṣmīdevī took birth as the daughter of the ocean.
