The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.3.76, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 76 of Antya-khanda chapter 3—“Mahaprabhu’s Deliverance of Sarvabhauma, Exhibition of His Six-armed Form, and Journey to Bengal”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.3.76:

সার্বভৌম বলেন,—“আশ্রমে বড তুমি শাস্ত্র-মতে তুমি বন্দ্য, উপাসক আমি ॥ ৭৬ ॥

सार्वभौम बलेन,—“आश्रमे बड तुमि शास्त्र-मते तुमि वन्द्य, उपासक आमि ॥ ७६ ॥

sārvabhauma balena,—“āśrame baḍa tumi śāstra-mate tumi vandya, upāsaka āmi || 76 ||

sarvabhauma balena,—“asrame bada tumi sastra-mate tumi vandya, upasaka ami (76)

English translation:

(76) Sārvabhauma said, “You are senior to me by āśrama, so according to the scriptures You are worshipable and I am to worship You.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

Sārvabhauma said, “Although I am elder and learned, You are superior to me by āśrama. Therefore You are worshipable to me. According to the scriptures, I am Your servant. Therefore I am being offensive by accepting Your humility and submission.”
