The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.3.41, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 41 of Antya-khanda chapter 3—“Mahaprabhu’s Deliverance of Sarvabhauma, Exhibition of His Six-armed Form, and Journey to Bengal”.

“নিষ্কাম হৈযা করে যে কৃষ্ণ-ভজন তাহারে সে বলি `যোগী’ `সন্ন্যাসী’ লক্ষণ ॥ ৪১ ॥
“निष्काम हैया करे ये कृष्ण-भजन ताहारे से बलि `योगी’ `सन्न्यासी’ लक्षण ॥ ४१ ॥
“niṣkāma haiyā kare ye kṛṣṇa-bhajana tāhāre se bali `yogī’ `sannyāsī’ lakṣaṇa || 41 ||
“niskama haiya kare ye krsna-bhajana tahare se bali `yogi’ `sannyasi’ laksana (41)
English translation:
(41) “One who worships Kṛṣṇa without any selfish desires is called a yogi and a sannyāsī.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
One who gives up the four objectives of life—religiosity, economic development, sense gratification, and liberation—and cultivates devotional service without motives is an actual yogi or sannyāsī.
