The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.2.496, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 496 of Antya-khanda chapter 2—“Description of the Lord’s Travel Through Bhuvaneshvara and Other Placesto Jagannatha Puri”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.2.496:

এই মত বলি’ প্রভু মহাপ্রেম-রসে লাফরা খাযেন প্রভু, ভক্ত-গণ হাসে ॥ ৪৯৬ ॥

एइ मत बलि’ प्रभु महाप्रेम-रसे लाफरा खायेन प्रभु, भक्त-गण हासे ॥ ४९६ ॥

ei mata bali’ prabhu mahāprema-rase lāpharā khāyena prabhu, bhakta-gaṇa hāse || 496 ||

ei mata bali’ prabhu mahaprema-rase laphara khayena prabhu, bhakta-gana hase (496)

English translation:

(496) After speaking in this way, the Lord began to eat the boiled vegetables in ecstatic love and the devotees began to laugh.
