The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.2.361, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 361 of Antya-khanda chapter 2—“Description of the Lord’s Travel Through Bhuvaneshvara and Other Placesto Jagannatha Puri”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.2.361:

যেন অপরাধ কৈলুঙ্ করি’ অহঙ্কার হৈল তাহার শাস্তি, শেষ নাহি আর ॥ ৩৬১ ॥

येन अपराध कैलुङ् करि’ अहङ्कार हैल ताहार शास्ति, शेष नाहि आर ॥ ३६१ ॥

yena aparādha kailuṅ kari’ ahaṅkāra haila tāhāra śāsti, śeṣa nāhi āra || 361 ||

yena aparadha kailun kari’ ahankara haila tahara sasti, sesa nahi ara (361)

English translation:

(361) “I was punished appropriately for the offense I committed under the influence of false ego.
