The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.2.264, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 264 of Antya-khanda chapter 2—“Description of the Lord’s Travel Through Bhuvaneshvara and Other Placesto Jagannatha Puri”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.2.264:

বাংশদহ-পথে এক শাক্ত ন্যাসি-বেশ আসিযা প্রভুরে পথে করিল আদেশ ॥ ২৬৪ ॥

वांशदह-पथे एक शाक्त न्यासि-वेश आसिया प्रभुरे पथे करिल आदेश ॥ २६४ ॥

vāṃśadaha-pathe eka śākta nyāsi-veśa āsiyā prabhure pathe karila ādeśa || 264 ||

vamsadaha-pathe eka sakta nyasi-vesa asiya prabhure pathe karila adesa (264)

English translation:

(264) On the way to Vaṃśadaha the Lord met one śākta sannyāsī, who attempted to instruct the Lord.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

Other names for Vaṃśadaha are Vaṃśadā and Vaṃśadhā. This place is situated near Jaleśvara.
