The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.2.216, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 216 of Antya-khanda chapter 2—“Description of the Lord’s Travel Through Bhuvaneshvara and Other Placesto Jagannatha Puri”.

ভগ্ন দণ্ড দেখি’ মহা হৈলা বিস্মিত অন্তরে জগদানন্দ হৈলা চিন্তিত ॥ ২১৬ ॥

भग्न दण्ड देखि’ महा हैला विस्मित अन्तरे जगदानन्द हैला चिन्तित ॥ २१६ ॥

bhagna daṇḍa dekhi’ mahā hailā vismita antare jagadānanda hailā cintita || 216 ||

bhagna danda dekhi’ maha haila vismita antare jagadananda haila cintita (216)

English translation:

(216) He was greatly astonished on seeing the broken daṇḍa, and he felt apprehensive at heart.
