The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.2.67, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 67 of Antya-khanda chapter 2—“Description of the Lord’s Travel Through Bhuvaneshvara and Other Placesto Jagannatha Puri”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.2.67:

গঙ্গা দেখি’ মাত্র শিব গঙ্গায পডিলা জল-রূপে শিব জাহ্নবীতে মিশাইলা ॥ ৬৭ ॥

गङ्गा देखि’ मात्र शिव गङ्गाय पडिला जल-रूपे शिव जाह्नवीते मिशाइला ॥ ६७ ॥

gaṅgā dekhi’ mātra śiva gaṅgāya paḍilā jala-rūpe śiva jāhnavīte miśāilā || 67 ||

ganga dekhi’ matra siva gangaya padila jala-rupe siva jahnavite misaila (67)

English translation:

(67) As soon as he saw the Ganges, he entered the water. He then took the form of water and merged in the Ganges.
