The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.2.41, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 41 of Antya-khanda chapter 2—“Description of the Lord’s Travel Through Bhuvaneshvara and Other Placesto Jagannatha Puri”.

ভোক্তব্য অদৃষ্টে থাকে যে-দিনে লিখন অরণ্যে ও আসি’ মিলে অবশ্য তখন ॥ ৪১ ॥
भोक्तव्य अदृष्टे थाके ये-दिने लिखन अरण्ये ओ आसि’ मिले अवश्य तखन ॥ ४१ ॥
bhoktavya adṛṣṭe thāke ye-dine likhana araṇye o āsi’ mile avaśya takhana || 41 ||
bhoktavya adrste thake ye-dine likhana aranye o asi’ mile avasya takhana (41)
English translation:
(41) “If you are destined to receive some eatables, you will certainly obtain them, even if you are in the forest.
Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:
In the Bṛhan-nāradīya Purāṇa (7.74) it is stated:
aprarthitani duḥkhāni tathaiva ayaṃ hi dehināṃ sukhāni api tathā manye daivam atrātiricyate
“Distress comes to embodied souls without asking, similarly happiness will also come by the arrangement of providence.”
