The Chaitanya Bhagavata 3.1.51, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 51 of Antya-khanda chapter 1—“Meeting Again at the House of Shri Advaita Acarya”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 3.1.51:

তবে গৌরচন্দ্র সন্ন্যাসীর চূডামণি চলিলা পশ্চিম-মুখে করি’ হরি-ধ্বনি ॥ ৫১ ॥

तबे गौरचन्द्र सन्न्यासीर चूडामणि चलिला पश्चिम-मुखे करि’ हरि-ध्वनि ॥ ५१ ॥

tabe gauracandra sannyāsīra cūḍāmaṇi calilā paścima-mukhe kari’ hari-dhvani || 51 ||

tabe gauracandra sannyasira cudamani calila pascima-mukhe kari’ hari-dhvani (51)

English translation:

(51) Thereafter Gauracandra, the crest jewel of sannyāsīs, headed west while chanting the name of Hari.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

Another reading of sannyāsīra (“of the sannyāsīs”) is sarva-nyāsi (“of all

sannyāsīs”).
