The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.28.177, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 177 of Madhya-khanda chapter 28—“The Lord’s Pastime of Accepting Sannyasa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.28.177:

এত যদি ন্যাসিবর বলিলা বচন জয-ধ্বনি পুষ্প-বৃষ্টি হৈল তখন ॥ ১৭৭ ॥

एत यदि न्यासिबर बलिला वचन जय-ध्वनि पुष्प-वृष्टि हैल तखन ॥ १७७ ॥

eta yadi nyāsibara balilā vacana jaya-dhvani puṣpa-vṛṣṭi haila takhana || 177 ||

eta yadi nyasibara balila vacana jaya-dhvani puspa-vrsti haila takhana (177)

English translation:

(177) When that best of the sannyāsīs spoke this, everyone chanted, “Jaya! Jaya!” and flowers were showered down on them.
