The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.28.166, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 166 of Madhya-khanda chapter 28—“The Lord’s Pastime of Accepting Sannyasa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.28.166:

`সহস্র-নামে’ তে যে কহিলা বেদব্যাস `কোন অবতারে প্রভু করেন সন্ন্যাস’ ॥ ১৬৬ ॥

`सहस्र-नामे’ ते ये कहिला वेदव्यास `कोन अवतारे प्रभु करेन सन्न्यास’ ॥ १६६ ॥

`sahasra-nāme’ te ye kahilā vedavyāsa `kona avatāre prabhu karena sannyāsa’ || 166 ||

`sahasra-name’ te ye kahila vedavyasa `kona avatare prabhu karena sannyasa’ (166)

English translation:

(166) Śrī Vedavyāsa has described in his Viṣṇu-sahasra-nāma that the Lord appears in one of His incarnations as a sannyāsī.
