The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.28.141, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 141 of Madhya-khanda chapter 28—“The Lord’s Pastime of Accepting Sannyasa”.

ক্ষুর দিতে নাপিত সে চাঙ্চর-চিকুরে মাথে হাত না দেয, ক্রন্দন-মাত্র করে ॥ ১৪১ ॥

क्षुर दिते नापित से चाङ्चर-चिकुरे माथे हात ना देय, क्रन्दन-मात्र करे ॥ १४१ ॥

kṣura dite nāpita se cāṅcara-cikure māthe hāta nā deya, krandana-mātra kare || 141 ||

ksura dite napita se cancara-cikure mathe hata na deya, krandana-matra kare (141)

English translation:

(141) The barber hesitated to shave the Lord’s curly hair. Before he even touched the Lord’s head, he began to cry.
