The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.28.134, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 134 of Madhya-khanda chapter 28—“The Lord’s Pastime of Accepting Sannyasa”.

প্রভুর আজ্ঞায চন্দ্রশেখর-আচার্য করিতে লাগিলা সর্ব-বিধি-যোগ্য কার্য ॥ ১৩৪ ॥

प्रभुर आज्ञाय चन्द्रशेखर-आचार्य करिते लागिला सर्व-विधि-योग्य कार्य ॥ १३४ ॥

prabhura ājñāya candraśekhara-ācārya karite lāgilā sarva-vidhi-yogya kārya || 134 ||

prabhura ajnaya candrasekhara-acarya karite lagila sarva-vidhi-yogya karya (134)

English translation:

(134) On the order of the Lord, Candraśekhara Ācārya began to perform the required Vedic rituals.

Commentary: Gauḍīya-bhāṣya by Śrīla Bhaktisiddhānta Sarasvatī Ṭhākura:

Śrī Gaurasundara appointed Candraśekhara Ācārya as His representative and ordered him to perform the formalities of the sannyāsa ceremony.

Mahāprabhu did not personally perform any of the activities required to be performed by sannyāsīs.
