The Chaitanya Bhagavata 2.28.121, English translation, including a commentary (Gaudiya-bhasya). This text is similair to the Caitanya-caritamrita and narrates the pastimes of Lord Caitanya, proclaimed to be the direct incarnation of Krishna (as Bhagavan) This is verse 121 of Madhya-khanda chapter 28—“The Lord’s Pastime of Accepting Sannyasa”.

Bengali text, Devanagari and Unicode transliteration of verse 2.28.121:

“কেমনে ধরিব প্রাণ ইহার জননী আজি তানে পোহাইল কি কাল-রজনী ॥ ১২১ ॥

“केमने धरिब प्राण इहार जननी आजि ताने पोहाइल कि काल-रजनी ॥ १२१ ॥

“kemane dhariba prāṇa ihāra jananī āji tāne pohāila ki kāla-rajanī || 121 ||

“kemane dhariba prana ihara janani aji tane pohaila ki kala-rajani (121)

English translation:

(121) “How will His mother survive? What a terrible night she must have passed!
